We needed a way to bring new educational content to our audience. We use GoTo to host a monthly, a bi-monthly, and occasional paid commercial webinars. We initially charged non-members to view the webinars but the exposure to a larger audience during COVID made us change these to free for anyone. In addition to the live webinars, we also keep the recordings in a library for users to view later.
  • The webinars are easy to set up and schedule
  • Admin controls during the webinar are easy to use and pretty self-explanatory
  • Automatic recordings are great.
  • Attendee/registration reports are helpful
  • You can't blur your background when using a webcam. Zoom has been doing this forever and this seems like a pretty big omission.
  • Invited panelists can't test their screenshare/audio/video on their own so we have to schedule sessions to do this.
  • We have a lot of repeat speakers/panelists, not having the ability to save their information for easy access can be a pain.
  • You can't add hyperlinks or attach files to the automated attendee/registrant emails.
  • You only get one login per license and cannot substitute emails. This is a real pain if the licensed person needs someone else to run a webinar every now and then because only the licensed person receives the backup panelist invites. Even being able to add a cced individual to those emailed invites would be a big help.
GoTo Webinar is very well suited for our purposes. Our webinars consist of a panelists and at least one moderator and a Q&A session at the end. Panelists are able to use the screen share feature to run their own slideshows and the moderator can review questions that are typed in by the audience. We rarely have issues with performance and if these is an issue it's usually on the user side. We can also add our own custom questions to the registration page so that we can collect additional info from the audience. Post session emails can be scheduled to target attendees and people that registered but didn't attend. You can set these emails to include a recording of the session as well.

A downside is that you cannot embed links or attach files to those emails. We send out disclosure/conflict of interest statements to all attendees prior to the sessions starting and being able to include those as attachments in the reminder emails would be great. You cannot blur your webcam background. Almost all of our panelists want that option and they usually say "Zoom can do it" when I say it's unavailable.

I help set up, host, or otherwise provide backup for webinars. We aim for one webinar per quarter and invite our customers to attend to learn about what’s new with our software, provide important information about different areas of the business, and more.
  • Registration
  • Metrics
  • Webinar recording
  • More robust reporting
Go to is great for when you need to provide a lot of info to a wide audience. They make it easy to collect info from attendees live as the webinar is in progress.

We use GTW for less critical webinars within our organization. For higher-profile events, we use a more premium webinar platform that provides more flexibility and customization.
  • Simplicity of presenter interface.
  • Good video capabilities.
  • Quick to set up an event.
  • Sharing a PowerPoint can be cumbersome. Presenters can't see the other attendees if they only have one monitor. There are workarounds, but it's not great.
  • Registration form options are limited.
  • Post-event emails are wonky. Very little ability to customize.
  • Getting an event started is confusing. Their "Practice", "Start", and "Start Broadcast" options are confusing.
It's good for situations when you don't need a lot of customization. It's also good for rookie presenters because most controls are fairly intuitive for presenters.

We used GoTo Webinar for hosting webinars and online events with multiple panelists and hundreds of attendees.
  • Webinar set-up
  • Webinar reporting
  • Webinar logistics
  • Apple users have had their cameras blocked
  • Running the webinar from the browser rather than separate app
  • More intuitive control panel
GoTo Webinar is great for setting up your standard webinar broadcast or live session. It's simple and easy to set up and execute. However, it's not a super fancy tool, so it probably won't deliver a more branded experience for participants besides virtual backgrounds and live content sharing.

My team uses this app for hosting webinars with our customer businesses on several occassions such as quarterly updates ,annual general meeting. Its easy for creating and sending invites to a large set of people.

I personally also attend many wellness and fun sessions organized by partner companies for us. This has helped us easily attend such events and engage with our colleagues.
  • Conduct large group webinars
  • Ability to ask for polls, comments from users
  • Good registration/form process
  • The user interface can be made more modern like google meet
  • Background noise removal should be made better
  • Overall connection stability in low bandwidth connections can be improved more
Its the best choice when creating events with a large audience and events spanning multiple days. It works seamlessly with large audience without any connection problems.

We have client who is in educational verticals. Where they use on- demand webinars regular basis . They have Students who need to fill customize registration forms, so they get alert before the webinar. GoTo Webinar best suited their environment, because its facilitates hosting on-line events. The platform language options like French, English and other languages it can be access from any device.
  • Customize registrations pages
  • Live answers notifications
  • Call-to -action button
  • SAML SSO integration is missing which to use single password to access multiple applications.
  • Question Upvotes is missing where we wants to know rationality of any questions asked in on live webinar .
  • Emoji reaction-which is basic features now days.
Go To Webinar is well know for user engagement and have features like Surveys, Polls and real-time engagement dashboard. Go To Webinar have good analytics tools.
However they are they missing in SSO features which is ease of use feature , required to access multiple applications' with single password and also helped in API integration.

GoTo Webinar is one of the very first tools for the online meetings I used for my work. It provides many advantages, such as for participants, you do not need to install it, you can use the web version.
I used to connect with my clients, share content and exchange ideas.
  • Yu can use it from any device... this is a big win
  • number of participants
  • templates of events that you can select from
  • also provides many registration forms and quizzes
  • The user interface
  • more expensive compared to other tools
  • Audio quality
GoTo Webinar is suitable for all scenarios especially when the number of participants is high (more than 300). It has great video quality, it is quick and easy to install, set up, and configure.

One scenario where GoTo Webinar does not function as expected is when you deal with PowerPoint and you have one screen only. Also, I find it a bit annoying is when you have multiple screens, it becomes unstable for some reason.

I've been using GoTo Webinar for 4+ Years. Firstly it was for when we were selling Online Courses (in a previous organization), and now the high ticket offers. GoTo Webinar helps in making organizing webinars simpler and helps us convert a larger audience at the same time.
  • GoTo Webinar integrates well with the tools like LeadPages, Zapier, etc., so you can have your own style of landing page for improving initial webinar opt-ins
  • Polls and Questions is my favorite feature in the tool, as it helps in building engagement with the audience
  • GoTo Webinar stores the session recordings on its server, which you can download whenever you want.
  • Their pricing plans, most of its competitors else provide a Free Tier in their plans
From my experience, GoTo Webinar is best suited for selling products anywhere from 97 USD to 5000 USD (based on your Webinar Experience), specifically for Information Technology Products and SaaS Products. I don't mean to say that it doesn't work for other industries. The main thing would be to create the right offer.

This software was used in a prototype situation when reviewing the best way to use a webinar related piece of software. While it was used my experience with it was early and good but it showed promise and have seen and interacted with it many times since. GoTo Webinar was used for the purpose of hosting a company wide GDC like event in which it was a platform for people to tune in and be exposed to a variety of teams and the information they where willing to share. In a company with thousands of employees it is vital to information share and GoTo Webinar created this opportunity. On demand video was a necessity and it delivered
  • Ability to handle poll interaction
  • Emailing automation
  • Robust Analytics
  • Audio quality could be better overall, Cut offs and stable audio connections arent as good as you would want it to be
  • Documentation for GoTo Webinar Api is not up to user friendly standards
  • Registration page lacks a robust customization
The GoTo Webinar software/ api is generally good for communication ,upskill and knowledge sharing. The covid period was a good example of how effective a software such as this can be. Allowed multiple uses of comms for webinars with a live chat feature and easy joining security with a simple code. Can launch in browser as well Analytics and reporting wanted by management is robust and as such is very welcomed

GoTo Webinar is used by our customers to host virtual events. Cvent has a tight integration with GoTo Webinar. Our customers use cvent to collect registrations where GoTo Webinar is used on the day of the event/webinar. GoTo Webinar encourages attendee engagement and has increased the attendance rate. It has resolved a lot of business problems like analytics and event administration.
  • Integrates well with other systems
  • Attendee experience is user friendly
  • Provides nice analytics related to attendee engagement
  • Improve attendee experience
  • Offer interactive features like chats, emojis
  • RTMP output
  • API Management
Scenarios where it is well suited:
It is very well suited for hosting virtual or hybrid events
It is suited for low to medium sized events
It is suited for hosting remote events

Scenarios where is not well suited:
It is not suited for in person events
Not a great tool for large sized events

GoTo Webinar allowed us to provide weekly webinars for our new customers in our onboarding period with our product. We were able to streamline processes and cut down on manually doing one-on-one training on basic aspects of our platform so that we could focus on more customized calls and training once customers watched our webinars and understood the foundational components of our software.
  • Reporting and analytics
  • Registrations and managing the audience
  • Interfacing during the webinar with sharing screens, etc.
  • Their UI felt a bit dated and clunky at times
  • Their registration forms could have some additional components built in
  • Every now and then we'd experience outages/crashes
GoTo Webinar is great for larger companies with a budget and needs to host webinars with more viewers on a more frequent basis. It's also great for those who want to collect a good amount of data on their webinar experiences and have a platform that will scale well with them as their company grows.

We used GoTo Webinars for training, webinars, virtual roundtables, etc. This platform became especially beneficial during COVID as most executives and customers were remote and we could no longer host in-person events or travel to our customers' offices for in-person training. This also allowed one platform for a global team. We had employees in APAC, EMEA, and North and South America.
  • Integration into Hubspot and SFDC for seamless tracking
  • Easy to use back end for event hosts, speakers, etc
  • Global reach for teams across different countries and time zones
  • Ease of use for executives in the financial sectors whose security walls block other vendors like Zoom and Teams
  • The ability to customize and brand the registration page more
  • The ability to customize and brand the actual virtual event environment while the webinar is occurring
  • Ability to customize registration confirmation and event reminder emails
Well suited for a team that wants a straightforward easy-to-use online webinar platform. You can host as many webinars as you would like as long as they do not overlap. Not well suited for a company that was streamlined, and branded UX experience from beginning to end. The capabilities are pretty standard for GoTo Webinar, especially for the registration page.

We are a webinar sales company and we also are an Education company. We use GoTo Webinar for all of our Sales Presentations and for most of our Live Classes for Paid User Education. We currently have a lot of accounts that we use daily - multiple times a day. We have also tested the On-Demand or "Go To Stage" Feature.
  • Webinars - 1 to Many presentations using screen share and audio
  • Recordings - Ability to use a registration link for a single webinar to also view the on demand recording
  • Scheduling - ability to schedule multiple webinars at one time
  • Integrations - APIs to help integrate existing technology and GTW to our platforms
  • Support - We have an account and the support options are limited and at times cumbersome
  • Accounts and 2-Factor Authorization - This is great for users as individuals, but when using group emails or sharing accounts with group emails - it has become increasingly difficult to maintain
  • Communication - Changes in the platform are done, but not communicated to the accounts, account admins, etc. We notice the changes and have to adjust on the fly
  • Account Executive - We have had multiple and had to go digging for contact after a current AE leaves the organization
  • Video-Sharing - is not the smoothest or prettiest experience. There have been improvements, but could be even better.
It's still the best 1-to-many platform with the best API integrations. From all of the platforms my team and I have used - GoTo Webinar is still the leader when it comes to webinar presentations, data, and processing. Where it lacks customer support and service. If you're okay with not having someone to talk to and guide you for all updates and issues and a self-help portal as prime support - then you'll be fine with GoTo Webinar.

Use it to integrate with HubSpot and our marketing automation. It helps us streamline our webinars and demos for prospect and partner education. It helps us mitigate any technical risks and also provides best of breed functionality with surveys and polls. The simulated live functionality is great when trying to scale the number of webinars to complete.
  • Integration with HubSpot
  • Account manager support
  • New features constantly added
  • Video editing functionality
  • Ability to edit landing pages
  • Live video options
Well suited for live sessions and recorded webinars. Not well suited for customized landing pages where you are wanting to use WordPress or HubSpot. A little challenging to register contacts manually for webinars. Some formatting does not duplicate if you are trying to replicate webinars on a mass scale. Would be nice if email notifications would show specific questions asked during webinar rather than in CSV export.

I use GoTo Webinar with clients who are looking to generate warm to hot leads for their product/solutions. Webinars and demos are key, especially for my SaaS clients, and GoTo Webinar provides a very intuitive and familiar interface for our hosts, cohosts, and guests. It typically only takes us 2 to 5 minutes to set everything up, from basic information to the registration page. Occasionally a client demands to use a different solution, but they always come to regret it in the end, switching back to GoTo Webinar.
  • Webinars
  • Landing Pages
  • Customer Support
  • Webinar Recording
  • The Channel Interface isn't as intuitive in my opinion.
GoTo Webinar is a great tool for generating leads, keeping attendees engaged, and creating trust between hosts and attendees. We love the flexibility where we can use the GoTo Webinar landing page and reminder/confirmation emails or use integration with email or marketing automation software for similar purposes.

We use GoTo Webinar for all client webinars and training. It's a powerful webinar tool, with a lot of flexibility that we find useful. We do webinars for clients and prospects and utilize the Q&A, polls, etc.
  • Simple user interface
  • The ability for pre-registration, both manual and auto approvals
  • Technology is reliable and simple to use
  • The video library is convenient for us when sharing replays
  • Love that reporting is available almost immediately after post-webinar
  • Would love to have the ability to customize the required information for video replay access
  • Q&A panel during live events - would love for speakers to be able to see the Q&A and not just the organizer and co-organizers
GoTo Webinar is a great reliable technology for small webinars, as well as large-scale webinars. I would not suggest GoTo Webinar for interactive training though - this is more for 1 to many, with less interaction from attendees. That would be better suited for GoTo Meeting.

We host monthly webinars with GoTo Webinar to raise brand awareness and generate leads. We typically host webinars with multiple speakers who work for various organizations, most of whom are familiar with GoTo Webinar.
  • Hubspot integration.
  • Logging in as a presenter.
  • Scheduling webinars.
  • Landing pages are poorly designed.
  • Emails aren’t customizable enough.
  • Wish it was easier to adjust settings on how attendees communicate during presentations.
GoTo Webinar is extremely easy to use and great if you’re hosting simple webinars that don’t have more than 100 attendees. If you’d like to have well-designed landing pages and emails, you’ll have to integrate them with another tool, like HubSpot. The support is lacking and some of the settings when an event is live aren’t straightforward.

We used GoToWebinar to conduct industry webinars for lead generation and branding, customer/partner workshops for revenue generation and internal company townhall as well as employee discussions. We used both types of meetings- live sessions as well as recorded webcasts and on-demand video streaming modes for creating meaningful content experience and interaction with our brand.
  • The platform user experience is very seamless
  • The webinar use case is covered extensively with features that covers the entire lifecycle: registation generation, nurturing registrants, live session, attendee management, session experience, follow ups and insights
  • Webinar Analytics is near instant and exhaustive- date/ time stamps and every user behaviour is tracked
  • Integrations with CRMs and marketing automation are limited.
  • There is severe limitations with design and customisation of webinar registration landing page
  • The web experience on mobile is not seamless, you need to install mobile app
GoToWebinar is very well suited to do large scale webinars where you want to share documents, build interactions with participants through QnA and polls, and drive overall event registrations, attendance and follow ups using one single/unified Webinar platform. It is suited for any webinar with audience size varying from 10-1000 attendees.

GoTo Webinar is being used as an essential tool in the last 4 years for the company. We use it for all departments and [it has] helped us to create more engagement with our clients and stakeholders. We are using it to do live and recorded webinars. We are able to reach more audiences than ever imagined. And the tool is very very very easy to use. Very friendly. Anyone that can join a Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Webex call can do a live webinar with GoTo Webinar. And there are options to do [a] recorded webinar. You can [also] do [an] OnDemand webinar. You can have a gallery of webinars so your customers can see all webinars that you have done.
  • Live webinars
  • OnDemand webinars
  • Webinars gallery
  • Easy to use
  • Analytics for webinars
  • DIY webinars
  • Recorded webinars
  • Simu-Live webinars
  • 1080P streaming quality.
  • Better image for webcam in the webinar.
  • Not need to download application.
  • Browser friendly.
  • Smartphone friendly.
GoTo Webinar is a very easy-to-use platform, for live/on-demand/simu-live webinars. [It is] well suited for company events, lead generation events, end marketing events, selling events, people who want to sell an online web product, teachers, schools, language schools. Training: for company, for per to per training. [It's also good for] church events, all kinds of online events that you want to have information from the audience. But, GoTo Webinar is it is less appropriate for high-quality videos and streaming. (That's the only coin that it has)

We've used GoTo Webinar for a number of years to help us with our webinar needs. We've run everything from small, 20 person internal team webinars, to upwards of 1,000 people on the webinar for free events and even run paid webinars through the GoTo Webinar platform for our clients. We're able to record everything and use it again in the future.
  • Registration form.
  • Integration with Pardot.
  • Technical and day-of support.
  • Pardot integration can be difficult to set up initially.
  • Higher limits for webinar attendance.
  • More customization of the landing pages.
External webinars are great to run through GoTo Webinar. We've done it a few times for internal webinars but without being able to have people ask questions through voice makes things difficult. Anytime you want to stick with Q&A through the chat function, using GoTo Webinar is perfect to present to large groups of people remotely.

Our Marketing department, Product Management, and Sales department use GoToWebinar to present to our customers and prospects every month about our new and existing products and applications. It is a great way for us to reach a global audience and to answer their many technical questions in near real-time. GoToWebinar's polling feature also helps us get to know our audience and to gather market research info.
  • Identify registrants.
  • Solicit questions from the audience.
  • Share webcams.
  • Needs to include Australian states and "not applicable" in the picklist values.
  • It would help to have a way to read long texted questions from the audience more easily.
  • Ability for registrants to select multiple items from a question picklist.
GoToWebinar is great for allowing easy registration and identification of those who registered and attended the webinar and how long they stayed on. The Q&A report is good for targeting only those who asked questions during the webinar. The audiovisual quality has been good for people who join from all parts of the world. The auto-record on start feature is nice and the recording quality is good. The auto attachment of the recording to the follow-up emails is also a nice feature.

We use it to host internal and external-facing webinars. We are currently using it to host a quarterly Product Event for our customers and prospects and it has been a great way to share content with the industry during this time of remote working. It has helped us stay in front of our customers without being able to connect with them face-to-face.
  • Auto-recording.
  • Preview of screen sharing.
  • Multiple speaker sharing/organization.
  • Reporting - cannot create reports on multiple sessions in one view.
  • Unique backgrounds (like Zoom).
  • Some settings are automatically turned off, like capturing webcams while recording, and that has created some issues when we don't test a session prior to recording.
GoTo Webinar is great for sharing content with a large group of people, but it could use some work on the interactivity of sessions. Virtual events have become more interactive and need to be more than just a webcam/presentation these days. By enabling more audience interaction features, I think it would be used more by Enterprise companies.

For the past ten years, I have used GoToWebinar off and on for my business and my client's businesses. In the online webinar space, I believe that GoToWebinar is the standard that everyone else compares to. When you need a solution that works, use GoToWebinar. I have not ever experienced a failure with running webinars on the GoToWebinar platform.
  • It works as it says it does.
  • It does well reporting metrics
  • The registration system works seamlessly
  • Great for when you want a webinar to have a replay at another time
  • Clunky, outdated interface for both back of house and end-user experience
  • It doesn't have all the latest tricks built in that other webinar software do.
  • It's not an all in one solution, so you have to integrate other third-party apps.
I have recommended GoToWebinar to colleagues and clients. I believe that it is a little on the expensive side, but it works. If you're using webinars to sell a product, usually, you can recoup your investment with the sales that result from a well-done webinar. GoToWebinar ensures that things work and that your webinar goes off without a hiccup.

Marketing uses GoTo Webinar to execute those external-facing webinars that we host ourselves. It integrates with Hubspot which makes registration and follow-up a breeze.
  • Integration with Hubspot is great.
  • User interface is easy.
  • reporting have improved.
  • Virtual Backgrounds: It is almost impossible to do this.
  • They could improve the chat functionality during a live webinar.
Although there is certainly room for improvement, the close integration with Hubspot, the overall ease of use, and the price point make this a tool I would still recommend for a traditional webinar. It would not work for those that would like break-out rooms and more advanced functionality. The lack of backgrounds is a concern.
